Tank to SMS:  contributed by James Lescohier

This project used Open-USB-IO to sense a water tank level using ultrasonics and then reporting this level as an SMS message via a wireless modem.  The application required a surprising amount of code to make it robust and reliable in the face of acoustic noise and other problems.  The interface to the wireless modem was particularly difficult as there was inadequate documentation of command sequences and flow control methods,  perseverance paid off and the project is now fully working.
